The name “Just by Grace” is based off the Bible passage that says “by grace”. This is where my name “Megumi” (Grace) comes from, too. At “Just by Grace”, I’ll be writing about cooking and other topics of life, and will also be sharing how wonderful the Bible is! Thanks for stopping by (^^♪

What is the Bible?
The Bible has been called the world’s best seller. It is a book where 40 people from different continents, eras, statuses, ages and occupations have written down “the words of God.” It contains a total of 66 books – 39 which make up the Old Testament, and 27 which make up the New Testament. The Bible records events that have and will happen from the beginning of this world until its end. Woven through that are God’s promises, unchanging truths and guidances for life.
When we read the Bible, filled with messages from God, we receive comfort, encouragement and even eternal hope. Although the Bible took around 2,000 years from its first writings until its completion, there is no contradiction in it – there is continuity right from the beginning to the end. Our wanting hearts are nourished and filled as we thoughtfully read it each day.
If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.John chapter 7 verses 37 – 38
